You might be able to load text from text files using javascript although I've never heard of it being done in Html. The languages we focus on next year are Vb.net and php i think. I'm quite looking forward to it.

I would generally tell you to www.justfuckinggoogleit.com but i did a little research myself and found this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_compilers.

Have fun!

The website looks very professional. The links on the navbar don't seem to be working as yet but i'm sure you'll fix it soon.

At school of late I've been doing a fair bit of flash website design and making it updateable through the use of text files. It's fairly interesting but standard web languages (html, css, javascript, php etc) are so much more powerful and less fiddley. I'm looking forward to next year doing yr12 IT software dev, hearing from this years class it sounds pretty awesome learning some pretty cool stuff. Gonna be my bludgey yr12 subject wink.gif

Try implementing a mod on the registration page that asks the user a question. These types of things seem to stop most robots.

Most teachers at schools have very poor IT skills and it shows when they do such stupid things like letting students have their passwords and such. That said, don't underestimate them because you could find yourself in a fair bit of trouble if they catch you doing the wrong thing.

That sounds pretty cool. I think if you're aiming to write your own keylogger i would probably suggest you go about it with a more powerful scripting tool such as vB.NET, C, C# or C++. I'm looking at buying a hardware keylogger because I think it would be quite interesting and it is compatible with all OSes. Only problem is that I think they are fairly expensive and possibly illegal in australia

You don't have to have administrator priveleges to create a local user on that machine as the net user command does. To create an account on the server would be a little more difficult.

tracert is not a "backdoor proxy" it is a command called "trace route" and it traces the route taken by the network packets that give you websites/msn messages etc. What you are doing by connecting to the last ip address is connecting to the website by its ip address rather than its url.

Two ways you can do this faster is by using the "ping" command which will send 5 packets to the web server and will reply with responses including the ip address or by going to http://centralops.net/asp/co/Ping.vbs.asp and inserting the website url and it will give you the ip address. The second way is good for when command prompt is blocked.

usage:
ping www.google.com

Also you said to don't destroy the server. School's have multiple servers with many backups. Even if you were able to access the server and shut it down/format it they would have the network back up within a day and wouldn't be very worried.
