Hey everyone!

As you may know from the title of this topic, I have discovered that it IS possible to make a keylogger with Game Maker.

I am working the Zimbi co. keylogger now. It is completely invisible when you disable its task tray icon DISABLING TRAY ICON DOES NOT WORK YET (other than from the task manager but soon I will disguise the process name). So far it can record key presses of all the letter keys, numbers and the spacebar to a text file.

I am currently working on getting it to detect whether the caps lock is enabled to record accordingly. Due to this being a work in progress, there may be a "h" added to the historylog.txt file each time you start the program. This is a problem that is being addressed.

These current glitches will be fixed as soon as i can. This may be a while, as this application is not my top priority. I am focusing working on PathFinder, Pen Ball and my Tower Defence games first.

you can download it here: http://www.zimbico.net/files/zimbico/Zimbi_co_-_KYLGR.zip

SORRY EVERYONE, THE LINK HAS BEEN FIXED

Tell me if you think of something I should include, or if you know of a dll that can record symbol keys or a way to detect if capslock is on!

Zimbi co.

That sounds pretty cool. I think if you're aiming to write your own keylogger i would probably suggest you go about it with a more powerful scripting tool such as vB.NET, C, C# or C++. I'm looking at buying a hardware keylogger because I think it would be quite interesting and it is compatible with all OSes. Only problem is that I think they are fairly expensive and possibly illegal in australia
